What's for sale?

This is an Edwardian, large, oval serving platter by Wood & Sons in their "Venice" pattern, which is a simple, elegant design in dark blue.

It's a very large platter made from semi-porcelain, which is a hard, white, non-translucent earthenware.

Platters are a traditional way to present food and are perfect for Christmas dinner. Old china tableware can continue to be used and enjoyed, but it shouldn't be put in a dishwasher or left immersed in hot water. Wash by hand with warm water and washing-up liquid.

  • "venice"
  • royal semi-porcelain
  • wood & sons
  • england

What condition is it in?

  • Second-hand
  • In good condition

What are the measurements?

  • 47cm long
  • 36.5cm wide
  • 2305 grams
