What's for sale?
This is a small, Victorian glass scent bottle with a threaded, hallmarked, solid Sterling silver top. The top is nicely engraved with a scrolled pattern of foliage, typical of Art Nouveau.
Who made it and when?
It was made by the Birmingham company Miller Brothers in 1901. The top is hallmarked and reads:
- M Bros
- An anchor denoting the Birmingham assay office
- The lion assay mark for Sterling silver
- A "b" which style denotes 1901
What condition is it in?
- Very good condition with no damage
