What's for sale?
This is a large, spongeware teapot by Price & Kensington potteries. It has been hand-painted with their charming blue sheep design. It is the larger of the two teapots in the range.
Decoration was applied by hand, using shaped pieces of sponge. A large range of tableware was available with this pattern, such as teapots, mugs, plates and a variety of serving dishes.
It's modern made by the Staffordshire company Price & Kensington. The range has been discontinued for some years. The maker's mark reads:

What condition is it in?
- Excellent condition
- No chips or damage
What are the measurements?
- 14.5cm high (just under 5.75 inches)
- 25cm from handle to spout (just over 9.75 inches)
- 727 grams
- 1000ml capacity (2 pints).
