What's for sale?
This is a pair of 8 inch or 20cm side, starter or salad plates by Price & Kensington potteries. They are hand-decorated in their charming and sought-after blue sheep design. The plates are dished and have a slight bowl.
The decoration was applied by hand, using shaped pieces of sponge. A large range of kitchen and tableware was available, including teapots, mugs, storage jars and servers.
Who made them and when?
They are modern, in a discontinued but still sought-after design, made by the Staffordshire pottery Price & Kensington. The maker's marks read:

- Price Kensington Potteries
- Made in England
What condition are they in?
- In very good to excellent condition
- If you catch the light, you can see cutlery marks in the centre of the plates
- Underneath are the usual paint marks from manufacture
What are the measurements?
- 20cm diameter (8 inches)
- 2cm high (0.79 inches)
- 342 grams each
