Midwinter Stonehenge Creation Coffee Pot

A stoneware, Staffordshire coffee pot made by Midwinter in their "Stonehenge Creation" pattern. Second-hand.

What's for sale?

This is a white-glazed, stoneware coffee pot made by Staffordshire manufacturer Midwinter. The shape is from Midwinter's extensive range called "Stonehenge" and was popular during the 1970s and 1980s. This pattern, with brown flecks and highlights, is called "Creation".

Who made it and when?

We can't date it exactly as the Stonehenge range was made throughout the 1970s and into the 1980s.  There's not the usual, printed stamp on the base, but rather an embossed mark which reads:

  • Midwinter
  • Made In England

What condition is it in?

  • Second-hand
  • In very good condition
  • The base has a small chip where the pot sits, as shown

What are the measurements?

  • 19cm high
  • 20cm from spout to handle
  • 888 grams
