What's for sale?
This is a signed, choker necklace by the American costume jewellery maker Krementz & Co.
The main panel comprises two stylised, gold-coloured flowers, connected by four curved bars which drape below. The flowers and bars alternate between yellow and rose-gold in colour. Krementz also produced pieces made from filled gold and solid gold, so this is probably gold-plated.
The pendant hangs from two pairs of articulated rope chain, which are threaded through a loop on the back of each flower. The necklace is secured by a fold-over clasp.
The maker's mark Krementz is stamped on the clasp. Going by its style, the necklace could have been made at anytime during the 1950s to 1970s.
