What's for sale?
This is a classic, 1930s, silver plated cocktail shaker with tapered body, looped handle and short spout.
The spout has an internal strainer, while the the lid incorporates a lemon reamer. It holds one and half pints.
Kingsway Plate was a trademark of William Suckling and Son of Birmingham. They were founded in 1895 and produced good quality, silver plated wear until their closure during the 1960s.
The stopper in the spout is probably not the original as we'd expect it to be silver plated as well.
The condition of the plating varies and the body has enjoyed a lot of handling. There's no missing silver plate, but there are differences in the mirroring, which shows more in the photographs than in the flesh. In perfect condition, these are a lot more expensive and hard to find.
Who made it?
It was made by William Suckling and Son of Birmingham. The underneath is stamped:

What condition is it in?
- In fair condition
- The silver plate is intact but worn on the body in particular
- There is a dent on the shoulder, and smaller dents near the base and handle
- Probably not the original stopper
