What's for sale?
This is a set of six small, single-shot schnapps, aperitif, or liqueur glasses by Danish maker Holmegaard. These belong to their sought-after Princess range, designed by Danish architect Bent Severin in 1957.
There were a variety of sizes in the range and a number of slight variations of shape; at 40ml these are the smallest of the range.
The Princess range, with its near-symmetrical shape is a beautiful example of Scandinavian design.
The glasses are handmade; the size and position of the bubble is unique to each glass and there may also be slight variations in size and shape.
Please note that these are in clear glass. The smoked appearance of the stems in our photographs is reflection.
