What's for sale?

This is a lovely, large, stoneware teapot with a happy, striped cat on one side. It is handmade and signed by the artist.  It is very well made teapot with nice details.

The main part of the body is finished with a very matt, rough texture in dark brown. The top section, the lid, the spout and the cat have a a high-gloss finish in shades of brown and mushroom.

The outline of the cat, along with the stripes, its legs, face, tail and whiskers have all been cut into the clay and show as a lighter colour.

The body is bell-shaped, taller than it is wide, with an upturned spout and two loops through which the bent, cane handle is threaded. The inside has a high-gloss, mushroom coloured glaze.
