What's for sale?
This is a fully-working, wall-mounted, adjustable coffee grinder. It's a good quality machine, manufactured by German company Zassenhaus, for the Dutch coffee giant Douwe Egberts.
The earthenware hopper is decorated with the Douwe Egberts logo in gold, red and black over a cream background. The backboard is the same cream colour. The wooden top has a rubber seal.
At the back of the grinder is the adjusting lever, either side of which, on the backing, are words "Fijn" and "Grof" which is Dutch for "Fine" and "Coarse". Beneath is a typical glass container for capturing the ground coffee, with three measuring indicators.
What condition is it in?
- In very good condition throughout
- There are only minor marks and paint loss
- The lid has a decent rubber seal
- The wooden backing board has no splits
- The glass hopper has no chips or cracks
- The adjuster works
