What's for sale?

This is a desktop perpetual calendar made from bright orange plastic.

The large flip-over date is triggered by a small push button on the top; the small, numeric month is controlled by a dial underneath.

The whole housing is angled around 45 degrees mimicking a motorcycle speedometer. It has a great look and a style typical of the 1970s' view of the future.

Who made it and when?

The only identification is "UK Registered No. 977268". We've seen similar items that were made in Hong Kong during the 1980s.

What condition is it in?

  • Second-hand
  • Fully operational and in good condition
  • At "9 o'clock" there is a 15mm fracture to the orange plastic, near to where it meets the clear plastic
  • At "3 o'clock" there is damage to the surface of the orange plastic where it meets the clear plastic as shown

What are the measurements?

  • 10cm high
  • 7.5cm in diameter
  • 95 grams
